WTF is Candorly?

Candorly (adverb): The art of cutting through marketing B.S. with brutal honesty, strategic clarity, and a dash of wit.

Used in a sentence: "Brittney (or Brit) approached our marketing mess candorly, turning confusion into results faster than we could say 'ROI'."

But in all seriousness, Candorly came out of an exhaustive naming exploration that had me spinning. Some day I’ll share the blooper reel, but it wasn’t pretty.

What I wanted was something that told people what kind of interaction they can expect from me. Which will always be one of honesty and frankness.

That doesn’t mean I’m going to come in and tear apart your website or social media presence (unless you ask me to), but it means I’m going to look at all your marketing touch points and push you to make them the best there is. No excuses.

Because at the end of the day, marketing isn’t just about looking good—it’s about working. And working well.
